Since the cut-off for consideration for the Peace Prize was on February 1st, what exactly did Obama do in the 2 weeks between when he was sworn in and February 1st that warranted a Peace Prize? Officially? It was his promise to bring people together. Of course, that was carried out by his reaching out to the Muslim world and Europe and illegal immigrants and domestic felons and just about everybody but law-abiding citizens of the United States. No wonder the Swedes love him so much. So the criteria for a Peace Prize is still: whatever weakens the fabric and fiber of America.
Fucking great!
And because our illustrious El Presidente has received positive reinforcement for his campaign toward a true fascist dictatorship in the U.S, there will be a growing line of people waiting to become yet another El Presidente of the Estados Unidos del Sovietes.
So with a growing number of Peace Prize wannabes, our American fabric and fiber is being shredded beyond recognition. That tattered flag lauded in the song "The Star-Spangled Banner" -- the proud and destroyed remnant of what was once a proud and solid symbol for freedom around the world -- is a perfect image of what we have become.
